We
need you to get behind the efforts Outreach
Israel Ministries!
Much of what our ministry does is freely given
via our two main websites (OIM and TNN) in the
form of weekly articles, reports, and teachings
(both written and oral). Please be a blessing to
us so that we can continue to provide you with
consistent, uplifting, and scholastically sound Messianic teaching!
Our ministry sends out 90% of its teaching for
free. Only 10% of our ministry is supported by
the sale of products.
Supporting Outreach Israel is very important in
the current economic climate. Over the past four
to five months, our offerings and contributions
have dropped off between 30-50%. This shortfall
needs to be made up, especially given our new
YouTube video podcasts and printing projects.
In
this section, we have divided your support
options into
five
main sections. These are the areas that require
special attention so OIM can always remain
effective in the unique call the Lord has given
us.
OIM
Book Fund
The new OIM
Book Fund is designed to raise sufficient monies
to see that various book publications, produced
by
TNN Press,
can be printed in a standard paperback, perfect
bound format. This is an ongoing project,
whereby we desire to see that all of our
publication are printed properly, and available
for purchase via major book outlets and
distributors.
Hebraic
Roots: An Introductory Study is presently at
the printer, and should be available in
softcover format by mid-April. Introduction
to Things Messianic is being proofed with
some final edits and updates, and is the next
publication scheduled for softcover printing.
We need your help to continue with
the next titles that are on the printing
schedule.
OIM General Fund
The OIM General Fund is what currently enables
us to pay our monthly expenses, including: regular
expenditures (office and computer equipment,
research materials) and utilities, the
maintenance fees of the OIM and TNN websites,
and the cost of mailing our monthly publication Outreach
Israel News.
OIM
Vehicle Fund
Each of the
staff members of OIM have made personal
sacrifices by choosing to serve in full time,
Messianic ministry. Taking a significant pay
cut, each staff member currently drives a used
car that has an average age of over ten years old. These vehicles
often have some mechanical challenges. In order
to alleviate the strain of not having newer
cars, this fund will enable us to
expediently repair current
vehicles. Likewise, this
fund will also be used to purchase newer
vehicles for OIM staff when appropriate.
OIM Education Fund
For the past
four years, TNN Online editor J.K. McKee has
been working on his M.A. in Biblical Studies
from Asbury Theological Seminary. Outreach
Israel benefits immensely from his specialized
training in the Hebrew and Greek languages,
Scriptural exegesis, and theology in general so
we can be a part of the larger conversation.
This past year he completed his degree, and has
already begun repayment on his hefty
student loans. If you have benefited at all from
the scholastic emphasis of Outreach Israel,
please help us by giving to this fund.
K. Kimball McKee Memorial Fund
Kenneth Kimball McKee (1951-1992) is the late
father of John McKee, Jane McKee, and Maggie
McKee-Huey, being married to Margaret Jeffries
McKee from 1975 to 1992. Those who knew Kim in
his life remembered him for his dynamic
Christian faith and devotion to Jesus Christ.
Kim always had a passion for the Bible, and most
especially the Old Testament. Kim died much too
young at the age of 41. Yet, his legacy lives on
in his children who have each inherited his love
for the Lord and in the importance of sharing
the Hebraic Roots as one shares the gospel. If
you have been moved by Kim’s story, or if you
indeed had personally been touched by his life
and testimony, please consider helping us honor
his testimony and memory by carrying on where he
left off.
